http://www.AetherTheater.com is the address for my website. From it you can access nearly all of the work that I and my collaborators have done over the past 17 years, since I started the enterprise that would eventually be called “Aether Theater”. Some of the items under “Music” go back further than that, but only since 2004 have I had a website with which to actively promote Pilothouse (which has existed in some form since 1982).
I’m realizing just now that, while I’ve been a storyteller for as long as I can remember, I didn’t become publicly recognized as a performer/storyteller until 1979. I mean, I was a total weirdo before then, mostly doing improvisational stuff that involved quite a bit of puppeteering with the accompanying vocal acting skills (spotty ventriloquism, fairly good sound mimicking, impersonating dialects and accents very badly, etc.). But at some point when I was 10 years old, some adults decided that I ought to make a fool out of myself in front of relatively large and attentive audiences rather than just in front of my family at home or my peers in the corner of the playground. I wonder if they would have still encouraged this if they could have foreseen what would be wrought over the next 42 years! O, the humanity!
