The outro as intro messed with my head

  2. Azuretalon says:

Anchovies man, I tried it. I hate it. I think maybe it was the pizza place though because I can see how it could work.

Started watching a BBC police procedural called Scott & Bailey that stars the same actor as Gentleman Jack (Suranne Jones) and is written by the same woman (Sally Wainwright). I’m enjoying it a lot. There are three female main characters and most of the creative/production/directorial team are also women. The friendship between the two main characters is especially well drawn. It’s on Amazon Prime.

  4. Beth says:

I have an Aunt George! Her christian name is Mary. During WWII, her brother was in the war and he said he had a rat or mouse or some other small rodent that he named “George” after her, and it has pretty much stuck. Her husband calls her Mary, but her sister and sister’s husband (my grandparents) called her George.

Olives are gross. I can work my way around minimal black olives on pizza, but I don’t know what the appeal of them are, or what it is about them that some people enjoy.

I agree with Tony about ordering fruit at restaurant as a side. It could be good for you, but if it’s super hard cantaloupe or honeydew, no thanks. Anything has 0 calories if you don’t eat it. I’ve also pretty much given up on the “fresh vegetable” being anything beyond carrots and broccoli, and sometimes a bit of squash. I don’t particularly understand why they don’t list it AS carrots and broccoli on the menu, and go through this whole “as your server” charade. Furthermore, I don’t understand why the waitstaff seems clueless about today’s fresh fruit or fresh vegetable selection, why is it hard for them to remember?

William – if my CSA gives us beets this year, I will give you our whole share. I hate how they taste, I hate how they stain, nothing redeeming about beets.
