My favourite Ian McShane role is the title role on Lovejoy–which if you haven’t seen is a kind of murder mystery/con-man/heist show. Amazon prime has it.
Great action/martial arts movie I saw recently was “Shadow” by Zhang Yimou (also did “House of Flying Daggers” and “Hero”)–also a plot full of political machinations and double-dealing.
I am absolutely going to have to check out Lovejoy!
