Episode 385 : Editor’s Workshop

Part 1 of 2. It’s been an hour since we recorded it, so I don’t remember everything. But we made a lot of fun of screenwriters and sit-coms. So that’s a thing. Oh, and Tony gets really mad at Stu, because of course he does. Enjoy!

QUESTIONS:

Given you’re both writers — any tips on the editing process? –Craig

Hey, how was the sound on this one? We tried the normalizing thing on this, like Mark recommended.

Went back and relistened – there was still a difference between the bumpers and actual show with the actual show still being quieter than the intro and outro.

I hope the Producer is feeling better by now!

Is the Chair of William an endowed chair or just a regular one?

    GoT: Yawn.

Final Conflict: It’s available on either Netflix or Amazon. I started watching it as I vaguely remember seeing it parts of it when I was younger. What I apparently forgot over time was how bloody awful it was. I didn’t make it more than 2 or 3 episodes in before I decided to give it up.

    Battle Royale: Nope.

Co-op games (where you’re not locked to the same screen) can be a lot of fun.

Fallout 76: Yup, I’m not a fan of this online play idea. In part, I tend to install a lot of game mods to customize things to my liking. While Bethesda has their Creation Club, it’s just not the same.

Hmm, I think I might have gotten my episodes mixed up a bit. I’m not sure what happened but I just finished an episode, posted this comment, started the next episode and realized I was listening to 387, not 386 like I expected. Not sure how I managed to goof that up.
