Episode 110 : Mega Ultra Hamster

We’ve got some interesting talk tonight, folks! About feminism. And also, a terrible movie. And cool pets! Also, cool pets fighting! WARNING: Tonight’s episode may contain one or more cliche spoilers for the movie Olympus Has Fallen. If you’re concerned, don’t be. That movie sucks.

QUESTIONS:

What unusual pet would you like to own? — Craig

This is the web-comic I was talking about. I was wrong, it was from Shortpacked!

  1. Craig says:

    110 is binary for 6, not 5. 101 would be 5.

  2. Bloodsparrow says:

Fallout: New Vegas – Oh you’re playing Old World Blues! Super silly!

    • Bloodsparrow says:

R.I.P.D. – See my tweet yesterday I posed about this movie Tony.

    • Bloodsparrow says:

Women vs Tropes in Video Games – I didn’t expect it to be THE PERFECT LENSE ON OUR CULTURE. But it’s creating debate and that was the point. She never claimed to be the best journalist ever.

      • William says:

Yeah, I don’t think I was expecting any kind of perfection, either. Nor do I think I expected her to be an exceptional journalist. Really, I didn’t think it equaled the quality of her previous work.

    • Bloodsparrow says:

Frog: Double word score and a cookie for the obscure M*A*S*H refrence.

      • Bloodsparrow says:

I’m not sure how we define “unusual” for pets. I’ve known people with chinchillas, ferrets, hedgehogs, ducks, various types of birds (including vultures and owls but that was a guy who did bird shows at Ren Faires), scads of different reptiles and even arachnids/bugs… I never knew anybody who had a monkey, but Pippi Longstocking had Mr. Neilson and he seemed nice but ultimately more trouble then he was worth.

    • Bloodsparrow says:

      Tiger vs Shark –

      Tiger wins.

  3. Mark says:

Sister Christian? I didn’t realize you were Night Ranger fans.

Warehouse 13, H.G. Wells: The actress who plays H.G. Wells is Jaime Murray. Also you really think she’s all that? I think the last story arc featuring her was pretty weak. Not sure if she get’s better; we’ve been watching the show on Netflix and just got to the bit with the Minoan Trident.

Defiance: Haven’t seen it, kind of feeling meh about it, though slightly interested to see SyFy doing actual sci-fi again.

Batman vs Superman: If the fight is a spur of the moment sort of thing, Superman. If there’s any prep time involved, Batman.

Olympus has Fallen: Wow, Tony’s review makes me kind of want to watch this train wreck.

Caprica: I was the apparently the third person in the world who thought Caprica was ok and was disappointed that it got canceled before it really got around to doing anything interesting.

Frogs: I have a feeling that I’m missing some sort of cultural reference that Tony’s making here and ya know, I’m fine with that. :p

I would pay money to see Tony shave a tiger…

Tiger vs Shark: Shark is a fish, felines eat fish, ergo Tiger wins.
