This week we mostly talk TV and movies, because no one wrote in. Also, it’s a weird recording time, so we weren’t on our game. But it’s a pretty fun talk, and we learn about Tony’s secret parentage so that’s cool. Enjoy!

Does “Nobody” count as a True Lies plot? That was awesome
Is that the Bob Odenkirk movie? I don’t know the plot enough to know if it is. Is he secretly a spy/assassin?

Conrad’s “The Secret Agent” is a True Lies plot, and then there have been movies and tv shows made from the novel such as Hitchcock’s “Sabotage.”
The “Slough House” book series by Mick Herron had a True Lies plot in the second book (“Dead Lions”). The tv series called “Slow Horses” (Apple) covered that plot in the second season. This is an excellent show, btw.
I wish I could’ve kept with Slow Horses. It seems good. Just too full of mean people being mean, though, for me. 🙁
