YouTube link here. The camera adds… something.

We’re worried about you! Or at least, we will be, once you keep listening for another week or two. In the mean time, you’ll be fine. We discuss WandaVision (finally!), and talk about some movies you probably shouldn’t bother to see. Oh, and yoga. Enjoy!

I’m glad that question ended in yoga, Tony would take that places,

    Eerie, Indiana was awesome

I really enjoy whacked out RPG premises, I tend to be experimental myself

I think by the time I became aware of Eerie, Indiana, I was way more into actual horror stuff, and was just at the age where I would’ve thought it was “kid stuff.”

      I should revisit it now.

      • Azuretalon says:

Not only was I the right age for the show, 8-9; but I was also still a dumb kid so I probably had my mind blown by the homages to more groundbreaking stuff. To me it was pure, concentrated weird and I had no idea it was derivative.

I do know of a cat pose in yoga that’s generally done in coordination with the cow pose. On all fours you arch your back up and lower your head (cat), then you push your stomach toward the floor, stretching the spine in the other direction, head raised. We do this one regularly as part of taiso (warm-ups for drumming).

    • themagicaltalkinghat says:

Oh, yeah! Cat-cow! How could I forget!

It was an exercise I was taught in physical therapy, but not with that term. Then Trish (who does yoga), saw me doing it, and told me about it.

Actually, a fair number of my PT exercises turned out to be yoga poses.
