I like both of them. But not “display in my home” levels of like them.
I will come to The Producer’s defense – you say that you’ll go stab yourself, but you don’t say that you’re going to take your pills. She probably doesn’t watch you do either of those things, so she just hadn’t connected that when you make your announcement of stabbing that is ALSO when you take your pills.
The Truman Show – I thought it was an interesting movie, and that the community in which it was filmed is visually striking, so although I’m not a giant fan, I’d be willing to visit the community while on vacation.
I’m fairly certain your argument doesn’t hold water, given my wife and what she knows about my medicine habits. But I’ll admit, it is a loophole through which she might avoid conviction. 🙂
