There’s a lot of humanity in this episode. But it’s all ultimately pointless. Although, Tony does finally discover an explanation for William. Enjoy!

Early in the pandemic (ep. 476) human behavior gave you hope. Still true? –Stu

To me the question isn’t really about what I think of humanity in general, it is given the current conditions and how I think that impacts human behavior, am I more or less hopeful about where humans are headed?
I think the current conditions, especially isolation, are extremely harmful for the social animals that we are. And I actually think the isolation we are experiencing now is only a more extreme version of the kind of isolation that people in many cultures in the world have been going through for some time. I think the result has been some really high levels of dysfunction and that doesn’t make me very hopeful.
That doesn’t mean I don’t think things can be turned around. I just think they are headed in the wrong direction right now.
Hmm… if the concern is social isolation, though this 1-2 years could prove helpful, in that there’s a chance it could precipitate a fairly strong course correction, once the danger is passed.
I, for one, plan to go everywhere, see and hug everyone, once COVID is over. I want to be out and about and social and travel and rampage and destroy and… sorry, what were we talking about?
Yeah, I think you’re right. A strong course correction as hugging rampages break out across the country….
I’m planning to go full-on “Of Mice and Men’s Lenny” on people, once COVID is past.
Very appropriate, ’cause it’s not good for a guy to get too lonely; a guy gets too lonely an’ he get’s sick.
I guess I’d better stock up on the ketchup.
