So, apparently, our planned episode 462 did not record. Or rather, it did record, and the intro and outro played, but the stuff in the middle is dead silence.
I’ve checked the file in the recording software. It’s just not there. So there’s nothing to recover. And we didn’t discover this until this morning, so it means there really, really is no episode this week. I’m sorry, folks.
If it’s any consolation, we didn’t actually get to any questions, so all your questions are still safely nestled in the Hat.

I was wondering about this bold new direction. I don’t like it, looking forward to next weeks return to the old format.
We weren’t thrilled with the new format either. At first, we thought it was because we still talked to each other for an hour, and we considered, next time, just reading books in silence for the duration of the podcast. But the negative feedback so far all seems to insist that the “talking” part of “Magical Talking Hat” is important to our listeners. So, back to the ‘ol drawing board!
