Tony and William – I can’t believe you’ve NEVER been to a Cheesecake Factory. I’ve been to a handful of them, they are all fairly large but none are ~1000 tables. The décor is about the same at each I’ve been – I think the floors in the foyer area are marble. I think the cost is more than Applebee’s/Olive Garden because the portions are so big. Yes, a 3 figure bill is a lot for 3 people for fast-casual dining, but you also got ~6 meals out of it (counted by other meals avoided) and ~10 meals of calories. I thought there was one in West Des Moines at Jordan Creek, but I’m not sure.

Museum gaps – my Mom and I went to the George W. Bush Presidential Museum in Dallas in September. It’s located immediately next to Southern Methodist University in Dallas. We left the museum still in the dark about a) where he went to college, or much of anything else about his childhood and b) what did his rise through politics look like that made him feel remotely qualified to run for president? c) why was the museum located in Dallas/SMU? I think the answer to a) is Yale ((we could tell that his dad had gone to Yale – which I already knew, but not positive about #43), b) still no idea – will be interested to see how Trump’s museum handles it, c) might be that Laura Bush went there (also not sure about that). Pretty key pieces of information that are *usually* covered/made obvious at a Presidential Museum.

I have never been to a Presidential museum, for comparison… but that sounds pretty lame.

You should check the nearby Herbert Hoover museum, to compare and contrast.

Actually, paranormal bigfoot is pretty established. Still a minority; but there are a lot of believers. I personally don’t believe in Bigfoot, but if I were to use it in a story or game or whatever I think I would use the paranormal version because I just can’t suspend disbelieve that there is a giant native ape in the woods.
