Some serious family stuff up front, but then we get into plenty silly and dumb stuff after, don’t worry. And we break down society to its barest components. Enjoy!

Another Pacific Northwest weirdness show to check out is Gravity Falls. And, yes, I meant that I’ve had my questions get repeated from the hat and I’m 90% sure I didn’t send them twice. I wonder if my cellphone did something funny if I send them while I’m in the middle of no where for work

Tony – Don’t know if you’re aware but there is a new edition of the Dresden Files RPG called Dresden Files Accelerated. It uses Fate Accelerated and from what I’ve read it really streamlines the system, especially with regards to magic.

I did know, in fact. But I love the original system, especially the magic, so I’m sticking with it. 🙂

      • Azuretalon says:

I never did manage to get Dresden’s magic system entirely grokked.

It always just worked, in my head, for some reason. It seemed to me like the way they explained magic in the novels. But im definitely in the minority.

I hope my new players are able to cope. 🙂

      • Mark says:

Even if you’re not going to use Dresden Files Accelerated, you might want to give it a read. It does a great job of blending introducing the Dresden Files world with the RPG rules and is a fun read for Dresden Files fans.

Emasculating: I don’t recall this happening at the Episode 100 meetup.

Lost in Space (Netflix): There are things I really liked about it, but it also has some bad writing in it (especially when dealing with the robot).

Ant-man Science: I think the trick with why the “science” behind Ant-man annoying Tony so much; is they tried to explain how the science works without really thinking it through and they regularly contradict what limited explanations they already gave, like William said.

Thor: Ragnarok was a lot of fun. Definitely, the best portrayal of Hulk we’ve seen to date. Side note: There’s no real need to see the Edward Norton Hulk movie; it’s pretty bad.

    Hi Producer!

All your talk about playing with a laser pointer, reminded me of this video I saw recently.

According to Google Maps, the drive to St Louis (from CR) is 15 minutes less than the drive to Minneapolis and 10 minutes more than the drive to Chicago.

Life Expectancy: Whelp, I’d like to live to be 126 so I can say I’ve lived in 3 different centuries but I think I’ll be lucky to 70. In any case, this seems to be the place to make my classic dad “joke”…. I want to die quietly in my sleep… Unlike those poor bastards in the back seat of the car.

  4. Craig says:

Forgot to post up when I listened – The wedding went great, we had a really amazing day surrounded by friends and family which was all we could have really asked for. Still settling in to married life, which included relocating to Liverpool the week after so I could start a new job but all going well so far (though having never worn a ring before I’m still hyper-aware of the fact that I’m now wearing one 24/7).

    • themagicaltalkinghat says:

You’ll probably get to where it feels weird not to wear it.

Also… I can make fun of Liverpool… but not as easily as Slough. 🙂
