What is your personal code of honor? –Cawfee

“Honor” is a word like “gentleman” or “courtesy” which is rooted in notions of rank and privilege. So it can mean integrity, but also a hierarchical title. In its older meaning, it’s so gender-weighted that I think I avoid it even in its more modern sense.
Had a useful assignment for my class recently in which they analyzed a protagonist who was more heroic because he abandoned personal honor–allowed himself to be embarrassed or humiliated for the sake of others’ safety.
I love the most recent Dr. Who companion. This might be the best Doctor/Companion pairing ever.
So I listened to the opening part of the ramblings, and I showed my age. I swore you guys said Jamie *Farr* was getting a new game show. I watched Name That Tune when I was little too. Bill and I are *OLD*. 😛
Dude, if Jamie Farr hosted a show called “Can You Beat Shazam?” I would watch the hell of out it! Not the least reason would be that it would probably be about the old comic superhero, not the music app!
Can you beat Shazaam? No, just no.
The Wonder Woman show! Oh wait, you were meaning the new movie which was bad ass! 😀
GotG2 was, as William said, fun but not great.
Shadows of Mordor: :p
Mass Effect: Andromeda – I like that they built in so many changes to the story depending on the choice you make. I’m unlikely to every unlock/view all of that content as I don’t like playing the bad guy.
Fidget spinner/cube: The cubes don’t interest me, but I did pick up a spinner myself back around the time this episode was posted. I find it kind of soothing to play with.
Ranch dressing: Blargh.
Dungeon World: Sounds interesting, especially Tony’s character.
Code of Honor: Don’t be a Dick/Golden Rule, these both seem to be valid options to describe one’s code of honor in simplest terms.
Dr. Who: I’ve not been watching the current season but really need to, especially having just heard about the 13th Doctor.
Kitten Academy: That sounds a lot like TinyKittens which other friends of mine are fans of.
Shadow of Mordor: I started my game over as I’d died enough that the Captains near the beginning tower basically slaughtered me on sight. I also switched over to using my Steam Controller instead of my Logitech gamepad and now things are going much better in this playthrough. Additionally, I looked up how the *bleep* to drain elf-shot “energy” from the orks. For all the blasted tutorials they built into this game; I’ve yet to run across one for draining them which was greatly limiting my bow usage.
