Episode 205 : Back to the Past

This episode runs a little long. Tony tells a lot of stories this time, and statistically speaking, most of them are boring. Then a little time travel, and William tries to convince us all he’s trustworthy, and inadvertently shoots Tony in the face. Enjoy!

Another great Del Toro movie, kind of along the lines of Pan’s Labyrinth, is The Devil’s Backbone. I hadn’t heard of Cronos.

  2. jas says:

Sound quality is much better–Tony’s voice is coming across much more clearly.

I’ve had terrible bouts of stage fright. I played piano when I was a kid and I would sweat so much that my fingers would slip on the keys. And about 15 years ago, I was doing karate tournaments and when I would do forms before judges my hands and feet would go numb (which makes doing karate really hard!).

I don’t have the same problem performing with a group of people.

  4. William says:

Sorry I shot you in the face, Dude. I didn’t mean to.

Just joining in: Now I’m tempted to try to arrange swinging by your place on night you record just to joining in for no good reason. :p

Jupiter’s Ascending: The apparent spectacle of this movie doesn’t look interesting enough to make up for it’s god awful looking story.

Pacific Rim: Hey, that movie was great fun! Enough that I bought the blu-ray when it came out, though I can’t imagine enjoying it on an iPhone screen. Ok, so it’s not a movie that would ever win major awards for story/acting and it was definitely predictable.

Send a question back in time to TMTH: I already did and don’t have to worry about this.

Greatest fear: I don’t know that I have something I would identify as a greatest fear. I HATE spiders and other creepy crawlers. I also react poorly to doing public speaking to audiences that I don’t know.
