   The Hustler is such a fantastic movie!

   I kind of think about it as this genre of movie of that time where lots of elements of the movie are affected by all the McCarthy stuff. Another couple movies along the same lines are On the Waterfront and The Sweet Smell of Success.

   I highly recommend the recent documentary on Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward called “The Last Movie Stars” on Max.

   Yes, I played MASH growing up in suburban Chicago in the 90s. It’s possible my mom was also familiar with it, having grown up in suburban Detroit in the 1960s.
