This week we cover Christmas, which should be unsurprising, and Batman, which should be unsurprising for other reasons. And Tony has to tell you a whole lot about some terrible movies that he agrees no one should ever watch. We also got an instant pot for Christmas, and for New Year’s we made a beef bourguignon recipe of Julia Child’s that was adapted for instant pot and it came out really well.
Otherwise presents were mostly books, puzzles, and games. Also a couple of those U-Gears building kits, and I got a painting kit that I’m anxious to try out.
Other highlight of the holiday is that we all got to see the new Spiderman movie as a kind of private showing since my son is managing a movie theatre. The theatre is closed on Mondays so he just set it all up for us to watch. I quite liked the movie.
