This week we talk about… a lot. Tony remembers about fourteen different topics that he’s been meaning to discuss, and breaks them in whenever he wants. Also, William gives an update on Chicago Mike (spoiler alert: still dead). But none of that matters, the important thing is we learn the origin of the greatest band ever’s name! Enjoy!

Tony, maybe you can stop by and see this on your way to or back from your second jab.
🙂
For the record, everyone… I didn’t explode!
But I DID manage to cook possibly one of the best meals I’ve ever done in my life!
Bon.
Well, after the complete train-wreck of the 3rd episode of Falcon and The Winter Soldier, the 4th episode was a really great hour of television. One conversation I especially liked in which one character made a moral argument that I thought made sense and then got a response which didn’t overturn the original point, but kind of made you aware of how dangerous it is to make any overarching moral claims. The show as a whole is using the legacy of Captain America and the aftereffects of the blip to interrogate several things: race in the U.S., America’s view of itself as the world’s policeman, and ways in which things are playing out globally with lots of people being displaced by wars and climate change.
That’s pretty impressive! Especially given the source material. Both Marvel (films) and Disney haven’t really been willing to touch on topics like that.
The R.E.O. Speedwagon information was the most interesting part of this episode. Thanks!
Also, FWIW, the movie is called “The Greatest Showman” not “The Greatest Human”
