I’ll be honest… I’m not feeling great, and I’m exhausted. And we did a double episode tonight. So I can’t really remember what this first one was about.
But, by definition, it’s awesome. So check it out. You know you’re gonna.

Re – Leg/Calf pain when trying to walk. – Tony, I’ll have some leg excersizes to do for your hamstrings and stuff. I’m seeing my Personal Trainer later today and confirm which ones are best.
“Never mind.” – Double word score and a cookie for William for the Miss Latessa refrence.
Okay, you guys want to talk about Cabin in the Woods and I haven’t seen it yet, so I’m going to pause the episode and come back to it after seeing it.
We work pretty hard to avoid any spoilers, Bloodsparrow. You’re probably safe.
Good. Because I didn’t have time to watch it.
On the subject of stuff to do to make your legs stronger so they don’t suck when you try to walk.
I made a video for you at my gym. It was at the end of the day, it was hot and I’m wearing my frumpy pj pants and last year’s New York ComicCon T-Shirt… So I look really terrible and I will only be sharing the link to the video ONLY WITH YOU instead of posting it publicly.
Joss – I was hopeful for Dollhouse and I kept waiting for it to be better then it was. It had some nice MOMENTS. But otherwise I agree it was ABYSMAL.
Excellent examples of audio dramas – There’s a company called “Big Finish” and they do audio dramas for Classic Doctor Who, Sapphire and Steel, Dark Shadows and a few other things… Their stuff is AWESOME.
There’s also a Podcast called “We’re Alive” which is a Zombie Apocalypse story and that’s pretty good though I was never able to get caught up. Also it takes place in LA and it made me homesick.
Catching the bus – YAY PRODUCER
Debate – I don’t want to talk about it.
What do you look for in a hotel –
I totally agree with the idea of a business that doesn’t have a website. I won’t stay away from a place that has no website.
Myself, I look at price and location. I prefer a place with an airport shuttle or at least convenient public transportation. Breakfast included is nice, but not required. I agree with wanting a mini-fridge, but not required.
When I get into the room I look for the following:
– I want it to smell nice, but as long as it doesn’t smell bad it doesn’t have to smell like anything.
– I look at the number and quality of the towels. They don’t have to be Egyptian Cotton, or new, but they do need to be of a reasonable size and softness.
– There needs to be hot water available. One time I came back to a really nice hotel room with a huge jet bath tub from a work conference and my legs were killing me. They had turned off the hot water for some reason! The water was ice cold, it was painful.
Mortal Combat –
I agree, the Mortal Combat movie was pretty fun, and I have never played Mortal Combat.
From what I understand Tony, your assessment of Street Fighter is correct.
Squats are a good way to stretch your hamstrings and glutes before walking, and can be done easily at home. Here’s a description of “good form” squats that may be helpful, even if you don’t do this particular program:

Mortal Kombat is the only fighting game that I’ve played with some degree of success, and have even beaten Mr. Bee at it.
Best Ted Knight impression EVER!
And for the Wonder Twins in you there’s this, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=38VbvKmFx2I.
I just stayed in a hotel for 4 nights last week for work. Midweek, I went to breakfast by myself at the Original Pancake House and ordered what ended up being a huge apple pancake. I only ate half. Then the waitress asked if I’d like a box. I said, “no, I’m staying a hotel and don’t have a fridge.” She responded “that’s ok, this doesn’t need to be refrigerated.” I still declined the box and immediately wished I hadn’t eaten the first half. What the heck was in my Apple Dutch Baby that makes it shelf stable!!?!
Elementary sounds not very good. I missed the part of the debate where Romney made good points – I heard him agree with Mr. Obama on some points, but then not explain how his view was different. “I agree with the president on this piece of healthcare legislation but I disagree about Obamacare” – ok. Please explain to me what your view is and why it is better. Maybe if you listened to the debate on the radio, Obama did better.
I actually wondered about that. I do think most of the complaints about Obama’s performance pertained to how he looked during the whole thing. Bored. Annoyed. Etc.
That said, the President was, actually, on the defensive pretty-much the entire time. So while I think his performance probably did play better on the radio, I think most listeners would have concluded that Romney “debated” better, even in spite of not being very clear about a great number of things.
(And… I thought Romney’s point about Obamacare was that he did like the program as a *state* initiative rather than as a federal one. But it’s entirely possible I’m doing some of Romney’s work for him in that perception.)
Tony: Skinny, tall Michael Moore? So William looks like Michael Moore only not?
William: Thanks for the heads up about Alloy Orchestra/Nosferatu. I doubt I’ll make it down for that, but I know other people who might be interested.
Producer: Run Producer Run! :p
A new Beth, Anewbeth, Anbuis?
Microphone placement: Maybe you should try convincing TMTH‘s massive advertising revenues to buy a second mic that can be put closer to William or one that can be actually attached to him to fix his continued failing to talk into the mic.
Elementary: The first episode showed some promise, but didn’t deliver on that promise in the episode; I plan to keep watching for now, but I’m not sold on it. Also, William’s right that they did go for the romantic/sexual tension right away. I don’t like this Holmes, but I like the actor.
Joss Wedon: Firefly was great, though the execution could have been better (and likely would have been if Fox hadn’t killed it). Dollhouse & Buffy were wretched.
Gaimen: Meh, I’ve read some of his comics and some of his novels; none of them really do anything for me.
Tony’s impression of the Superfriends narrator was spot on! Well done sir!
If you don’t care enough about your website to have a good one, to me that says you don’t care enough about your business for me to want to spend money with you.
