   Just to clarify… Simon Peg is the comic book artist in Spaced and in Paul… not Nick Frost.

   I don’t know why I can’t keep these names straight.

   You lost £10? I’m sorry to hear that and very confused that you would be so excited about it. Seriously though, I’d heard that doing crunches could be very bad for one’s back. Did your doctor(s) recommend you do them? If not, you might want to check to see if they do recommend crunches (or some other specific exercise).

   So are you counting us Hatters are “real” people following you on Twitter?

   I’ve watched a few episodes of Portlandia as well and I find it to be …. wildly uneven. Some skits get me falling-down laughing; while others make me wonder why the hell I bothered to watch them. That being said, there’s a clip of a BSG-related Portlandia episode that’s floating around online right now and it was hysterical.

   Spaced is the AWESOME (and currently available on Netflix streaming)!

   I’m sorry, but I’ve yet to see a good episode of Babylon5. I didn’t see it when it aired, so I started watching it a while back when Netflix had it available via streaming. I think I’d only gotten part of the way into the first season when Netflix dropped it.

   I hated the first episode of Grimm (pacing issues, extremely annoying). The next couple of episodes were much better, but it would be nice to see the overall plot moving some (I’ve only watched ~5 episodes).

   Agreed, Once Upon a Time is definitely as bad as Grimm, but in a totally different way. And yes, seeing Dr. Rush turned into Rumpelstiltskin is fantasticly fun.

   Of course William likes the Evil Queen for being a pain-in-the-ass; it’s the same instinct that allows William to put up with his co-host (and possibly some of the commentors). I can put up with most of the characters, but the one I hate the most is Snow White.

   Have either of you managed to see any of Lost Girl? It’s another modern day story with fairy-folk and I’ve found it to be quite entertaining.

   Given the number of people who have access to TMTH and the number of those who are both men and have modesty, I’d assume it’d have to be William.

   Hot Chocolate: Never fluff. I like full-size marshmellows. But generally when I’m having it; it’s made from an instant packet which includes the mini-marshmellows.

   William: Have you ever tried Lindt’s 90% Dark Chocolate?

   OMG Spaced was the best thing EVER!

   I suggest if you like their stuff you may like their radio show.

   It was a spoof game show with comedians and comedy actors. It stated out bent called “King of Stuped” and then switched to “99p challenge”. Google it. You can download them for free somewhere.

   Losing weight is awesome, and it sucks… all at the same time. I started off at 552 pounds a while back and started Weight Watchers, and over the course of 6 months lost 60 pounds. Then the holidays happened and I stopped paying attention to my diet. I in turn gained back about 20 of those pounds. I started back on the NEW Weight Watchers yesterday and I think I will start trying to update my blog/videos again. (http://theportlypaladin.wordpress.com/) Hopefully I can help people out again.

   LOL, WTF was that question about? Well played, Stu.

   I had all sorts of things to say about the TV programs discussed, but my dreadful question about hats and nakedness threw me off.

   But yeah, BSG is a cut above probably every other show I’ve seen, even 24. Though I loved it to the end, even Jack got formulaic, but BSG never felt that way for me. I must admit, I haven’t had a second viewing yet, and that it’s in HD on netflix means I have no excuse, but I bet it’s even better when you’re paying attention to all the signs. I also thought the end was jaw dropping, but I may be alone there.

   Once Upon a Time still plays in our house, but I don’t pay attention to it. Sounds like I’m missing out on unintentional comedy. I agree with William on the evil lass, but only because of the outfits she wears in Poor CGI Land.

   You briefly mentioned Alcatraz. That had the opportunity to be decent, but it’s woefully formulaic, by the numbers police fluff with 30 seconds (if you’re lucky) of relevant plot movement right at the end. It got to the point where I read a summary of the last couple of episodes and didn’t feel like I’d missed anything important. You know, I get you don’t want to blow your plot’s load in the first 5 minutes, but that’s why you have engaging characters that develop throughout. The bad guys in this? Completely modular; they’re whisked off to Alcatraz Mk.2 and never heard of again.

   Awesome news on the 10lbs 🙂
