We haven’t seen each other in three weeks! So it’s a lot of media catch up. Movies mostly, some video games. We cover it all. Enjoy!

  1. Mark says:

DC Bombshells: Huh, I knew they made the artwork for these but wasn’t aware of them being an comic. That’s interesting.

Lootbox Battlefront II: Really, you bought this cash grab?

    GORDON’S ALIVE?!?

The Last Jedi: My two big takeaways from the movie were:
    1. It felt the least “StarWarsy” of the Star Wars films.
    2. This film really solidified for me that we’re into the third era of the films. The first era was the original films were Lucas was being experimental and wanting to make films everybody could enjoy. The second era was the prequels where Lucas decided to masturbate all over the screen make the films he wanted to see and fuck anybody who didn’t want to see them. And now the current era is the Disney era where they are working to make the most entertaining films they can; to keep you spending money on Star Wars films & merchandise. To the point where the comedic bits were so scripted/timed that you could nearly set your watch by them.

Get Out: I’ve never been a particular fan of the horror genre. Also from the recent Oscar nominations, it seems other people are agreeing with you about it being good.

Bright: I’ve seen it and I had fun with it. I don’t see the problem with calling things by names that people can understand (i.e. wands). As for the meaning of being Blooded, I took that to be a cultural/honor thing and for it to happen, all that was really required was a higher status orc to witness the lower status orc’s bravery.

[Minor Spoiler] Mass Effect Andromeda: There was one big cliff hanger in the game. They sprinkled references to a Quarian ark but we never get to find out what happened to it.[/Minor Spoiler]

Toilet Paper: Over is the way to go to help prevent the spread of nasty bacteria.

A hot dog is not a sandwich; if its bun rips, then you’ve got a broken hot dog, not a sandwich.
