Episode 210 : William E Coyote

Cruise talk! Lots of cruise talk! And William does more roleplaying! (They grow up so fast). Then we discuss evil, and how close we are to our evil counterparts. Several gratuitous references are made to Dave of Id. Enjoy!

(NOTE: question is abridged)

This is for Evil Tony & William, If you could trade places w/ the Good versions, what’s the first thing you’d do in the good universe? –Dave of Id

  1. William says:

Ah… that has a nice ring to it…

    Will C. Wright-ote… soooopah geeenius…

  2. jas says:

    Heh…what a maroon….what an im-bezzle….

  3. jas says:

What happened to the German Space Program is that it became the Russian Space Program and the American Space Program.

“Vunce ze rockets go up, who cares vere zey come down,

Dat’s not my department, says Werner Von Braun.” (Tom Lehrer)

  4. jas says:

I heard some program about all the different kinds of ways people are looking into preparing Jellyfish to be eaten by humans. Pretty much ’cause they’re going to have to.

  5. jas says:

I think ’cause “Cillian” is Celtic, “C” is pronounced “K.”

  6. Beth says:

Tony – I had some listening problems this week, so I ended up listening to almost the entire podcast twice. You said at the end that you should listen to it twice, and you promise it sounds different the second time around. This is FALSE advertizing people! I just wanted to let you know so you didn’t spend time on this fools-errand, too.

  7. Mark says:

Do listeners really get a bit of a pass?

    Direct exposure to SPACE

Tony eating on the podcast: Perhaps he doesn’t regularly do it; but there was a long period where you’d somewhat regularly order pizza and have it arrive while you were recording.

FATE/Serious RPGs: While FATE isn’t GM-less; it is very collaborative. Woo, that was a fun afternoon. I only wish we’d been able to get down there sooner and join in the Atomic Robo playing too.

Dave of ID: Yup, I was totally blown away by how easy he made it look to build a game totally on the fly for such a group of people. Granted it was a thinly veiled Firefly rip-off; he chatted with the group for no more than 5-10 minutes. Then BOOM, he was ready to go.

My wife follow’s Tony on Twitter? Huh, she hadn’t mentioned that to me…..

The Magical Talking Hat Denver Airport Gift Shop: Only $3 dollars? What a steal!

    Stung by a jellyfish? Ouch.

Control over the questions: At this point, I doubt anybody believes there is control; rather when asking time-specific questions, it’s either something that will be amusing to me when taken out of it’s original context or something I’d like to know but do feel any rush to get an answer on.
