Episode 146 : Post-Christmas Hat-tacular!

Christmas is past, so we post an episode that took place before Christmas, in which we try and guess how Christmas went. And we talk about our week which hasn’t happened yet (is that weird?). Also, bad video games. Enjoy!

QUESTIONS:

Dear William and Tony, Do you ever find it weird talking about your week for people you don’t know to listen to? — Craig

Dear T & W, What is the absolute worst video game you’ve actually played all the way through to the end? — Mark McKibben

  1. Beth says:

Tony – my Christmas was less than awesome, so if I am one of the people you wished had a bad Christmas at the start of the episode, you may consider your wish to have come true.
T&W – Kwanzaa is a 7 day festival that is primarily celebrated by African Americans. I believe it has something to do with being grateful for the bounty (of love, of hope, etc.) in your life. It might be a perfectly nice holiday, but I would guess that more people celebrate “Capitol One Bowl Week” that week than who celebrate Kwanzaa, even though they cover the same time period. I don’t have any statistics to back that up, but Bowl Week is covered on several television networks and Kwanzaa is not.

There’s no need for anybody to feel Tony gagging; we all felt ourselves gagging.
Do you suppose adorable babies are more delicious than ugly ones?

Also it sounds like the Producer really only borrowed a baby rather than stole one.

    Skype Xmas sounds depressing.

Possible Iowa State attendee: Good luck/congrats? 🙂

Don’t you find discussing how to carve up your inheritance a bit morbid?

Say what you want: You should continue to say what you want to say; even if people complain, but if persons you know complain then maybe think about changing?

    Yeah friends!

Maybe hundreds of people are listening. Maybe some of your dedicated listeners are already piping your podcast through their work speakers to force others to listen…. or not. You’ll never know….

Wii: Yeah we’ve got one and we bought some of the games/add-ons designed to make it more exercise friendly. It mostly sits around collecting dust (much like our exercise bike).

Buying games on the cheap: Yup for the last year or so, like Tony, I’ve started buying more games on the cheap (thanks Steam/Valve!), but I’ve not bought nearly as many games as he has and I’m trying to play them at least a little before I buy more.

Skyrim: I recently started playing this and it’s nice; but I think Mass Effect was better.
