Swiping own child’s Halloween candy: It’s both a parental privilege and (depending upon what candy you swipe) it can be somewhat mean. From my personal experience, I don’t recall my parents ever swiping any of mine; my older brother was another matter.

Daily life of historical times doesn’t especially interest me but William makes an interesting case for visiting the library of Alexandria. Though how interesting that visit would really be with the no interaction restriction is questionable.
