Wow… I was off on all the dates for stuff. I’m most embarrassed by saying Empire Strikes Back was in ’83. It was 1980 of course. I don’t know what I was thinking.

Hatlings! I have left my indelible mark on the podcast. Also, summer sausage seems to be available year round here in the Willamette Valley; I just bought some the other day and it’s made locally.

Ok this was confusing me when listening to the episode. But what is summer sausage?

      • themagicaltalkinghat says:

In trying to define it, I went to Wikipedia, and apparently its defining characteristic is that it’s sausage that doesn’t require refrigeration.

It’s hard to explain, though… maybe some Google image searches will help… but keep the safe search on!

    RE: LARP

I used to be part a group that not only played Vampire LARP regularly, we ran LARPs at the Strategicon cons. This was during and just a little after I graduated.

At first I was like NO!!!

Then I was like, “Okay, yeah. That sounds cool.”

  4. Mark says:

The super power of projecting emotions would be empathic projection.

I am greatly behind on my podcast listening due to listening to a few audiobooks lately so I apologize that I haven’t commented on this until now…

FYI my nickname comes from high school spanish class. I had picked Miguel since my first name is Mike but the teacher wouldn’t let me take it since someone else had picked it. So I then looked at the list again and saw Guido. Since at the time I was a huge X-Factor(the comic) fan and liked Strong Guy… I picked that. I of course pronounced it like I wanted to be named after someone from the Jersey Shore. The teacher corrected me and insisted it was pronounced the way I say it now. A friend of mine was in the class and thought it was funny that she said it differently and started calling me that outside of spanish class. Fast forward almost 20 years and it’s still there. So… yeah.

As for my Azuretalon name… I was thinking CeruleanProboscis.
